I want a practice brochure.
What’s the process and how long does it take?
When we receive your faxed order form we will layout a working template with basic text. You can change/add any text copy to meet your requirements, and decide what pictures you would like to include in your brochure. You can provide your own practice photos, or we can provide you with some of our stock photos.
It will typically take 2-3 layout proofs before your practice brochure is ready to go to press. Printing time is typically 7-10 days plus UPS shipping time to deliver your brochures.
What is an Aqueous Coating?
This clear coating is used to protect your printed pieces. It provides a high-gloss surface that deters dirt and fingerprints. Aqueous coating improves the durability of the printed piece. It also looks beautiful on brochures. Gives brochures and newsletters a rich, high-end feel!
Why do some practice newsletters get read while others get trashed?
Designing a great looking newsletter is almost an art form –
but we make it easy. The most successful practice newsletters will have outstanding layout/design elements that invite clients into your newsletter. They will be fun and easy to read. Newsletters should have a “soft side” – you don’t want a newsletter chock full of disease issues. It’s depressing and a client turn-off. Clients want to be entertained while learning a few things that will help them take better care of their pet. Clients want to learn more about you and your staff. Staff photos, a heart-warming story about the hospital cat, a “behind the scenes” picture of the lighter-side of pet ownership are just a few powerful ways to entertain and BOND clients to your practice.
Can the success of my newsletter be measured?
Yes, though educating and bonding clients to your practice occurs over time. A newsletter is your professional marketing tool to facilitate practice growth and build client loyalty.
You can get a feel in the readership of your newsletter by making it interactive. Include a “call to action element” in your newsletter, such as an educational crossword puzzle. You can have a drawing from the clients who mail back the completed crossword puzzle. The winner can receive a bag of dog food, flea control products or a professional service credit. Educational crossword puzzles are a very popular element in our newsletters. Clients like them and your staff will too. Some pharmaceutical companies are excited to help sponsor this section of your newsletter. ASK THEM!
Who provides the newsletter content?
We offer over 80 pet health articles, short subjects, the lighter-side of pet ownership, plus educational crossword puzzles. You can edit any of these articles to meet your practice requirements or write your own. You are welcome and encouraged to write a practice “New & Notes” section about your current hospital happenings. You can also provide us with practice photos to include in your newsletter or you can use our library of stock photos.
Our client list is 1600 pet owners.
Can we just print 1600 newsletters?
No. Your printing job is “ganged” on the press with several others of like quantity, so you must purchase 1000, 2000, or 4000 newsletters. If you have extra newsletters you could provide them to the local animal shelter, pet store, kennel or groomer. Your newsletter is an exceptional and powerful marketing tool to promote your practice.
Do you provide mailing services?
YES... we can do it all for you. We can barcode address your newsletters, postcards, or vaccination reminders using our USPS Business Mail Discount Permit. You will need to provide your mailing list in an Excel, DBF, CSV or Text file formats. This allows us to process your mailing list through our USPS software which will validate the addresses to receive the discount postage fee.
What about promotional expiration dates?
You want to print 2000 dental postcards with a $25 OFF savings offer but are concerned about putting an expiration date on them. You could get overwhelmed with dental appointments... what should you do? Rather than put “expires on 12/30/07” we can print “expires 30 or 60 days from postmark” this allows you to mail your cards out in batches of 200 - 500 and you can use them anytime of the year ... especially helpful when you hit a slow patch in your business and need to kick some marketing into gear.
